Tests conducted on a group of volunteers have highlighted the antiviral and antimicrobial action, highly tolerated by the body, of Reprivir. The macroscopic clinical data was corroborated by the measurement of humoral parameters that showed an association between the intake of the extracts contained in Reprivir and an increase in lysozyme, lactoferrin and defensins found in the participants’ saliva.

Properties and Ingredients

Scutellaria Baicalensis

It is a plant of Chinese origin traditionally used in the East, but recently also paid attention to by Western medicine, with strong anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties. The immunostimulating action of Scutellaria Baicalensis is attributable to the virtuous activity of some flavonoids including baicalin, baicalein and wogonin.

In particular, baicalin is a virucide and bactericide capable of eliminating viruses completely from saliva, preventing the transmission of viruses to others through coughing and sneezing which are the main path of morbidity (Belcaro G. et al, 2020).

Bergamot (Citrus bergamia)

The essential oil of Citrus bergamia (bergamot) contains compounds such as limonene, linalool and acetyl-linalol for which an antiviral action has been described on the common strains of influence A, B and H1N1 and and more recently also on Sars-Cov 2 (Int. J. Mol. Sci., 2020, 3426).

Pomegranate (Punica granatum)

One of the most powerful anti-inflammatories in nature, the properties of pomegranate are attributable to the presence of certain antioxidants including ellagic acid and punicalagin. In a study published in 2019, these two substances showed an ability to bind to tissues creating protective barriers of the mucous membranes.

Ginger (Zingiber officinalis)

Although rich in bioactive compounds, the therapeutic properties of Zingiber officinale are mainly attributable to the antioxidant action of its phenols, in particular gingerols and shogaols. In general, it is considered a natural anti-nausea, carminative, spasmolytic, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, digestive, hepatoprotective, diaphoretic and lipid-lowering agent.

Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra)

The main element that gives licorice its therapeutic potential is glycyrrhizin, a saponin glycoside with proven antiviral and anti-microbial activity.

It is recommended to take 2 tablets a day to dissolve in the mouth (without water).

Do not exceed the recommended doses for daily intake. The supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
